NTRL FINALS IN THE SUNSHINE STATE
BRINGS SMILES TO ROPERS FACES!

The National Team Roping League pulled off another great finals in Jacksonville, Florida January 30 through February 3, 2008 at the Jacksonville Equestrian
Center. The NTRL Finals, in its 4th year of existence, has become the crown jewel of ropings east of the Mississippi. Once again, ropers saw a payout of cash and
prizes exceed $450,000 with over $300,000 of that being cash alone! Team roping east of the Mississippi seems to continue to grow and the NTRL and USTRC
partnership is definitely a huge part of that process.

The payout in cash and prizes has always been tremendous at the NTRL Finals. This year the NTRL wanted to add a few more amenities and activities for the ropers
and their families. The weather was absolutely beautiful everyday and played a huge part in one of our customer services of offering a practice and challenge pen in
the second arena. Ropers really seemed to enjoy the opportunity to run a few practice steers and try to beat the challenge in the beautiful 70 degree weather in
Jacksonville.

The Eagle Landing Golf Club provided ropers an opportunity to play on one of Florida’s most beautiful golf courses throughout the week. Farm Credit of North Florida
and the NTRL teamed up to provide producers, members and sponsors with a delicious prime rib dinner on Wednesday night at the facility. Ropers and their families
were also treated daily to the awesome show presented by the Budweiser Clydesdales. For the ropers who wanted a little bit of the night life in Jacksonville, the
Mavericks Rock ‘n’Honky Tonk provided just that with an opportunity for ropers to use their USTRC cards for free refreshments and entertainment. With the addition of
the western trade show and the NTRL sponsors, everyone had a multitude of activities to be involved with throughout the week.

As a special new addition, with the results of the finals, The Roping Pen magazine will be running a feature article monthly on all of the shootout winners, VIP and All
Girl winners throughout the year. An association of this size and a finals of this magnitude can not have this kind of success without tremendous effort from our
members, producers, staff and sponsors.
